The Blessings and Benefits of Following Christ

John 10:7-10 NIV

The people of Jerusalem broke out in spontaneous celebration one Sunday because their long-awaited Messiah had come to town. One of the reasons this created such joy is because of what the promise of the Messiah meant. Jesus said that he came so that we could have life and have it more abundantly. Some of the ways that this abundance enhances our lives includes increasing our self-confidence, enabling us to have love for others, and encouraging us to trust in Christ for a brighter future. As followers of Christ, we should strive to demonstrate these truths—and the blessings of Christ—in our own life.

Sermon Challenge: Encourage people to follow Christ through the example of practical Love that you model for them.
